Once your doctor, in consultation with our physicians, determines that radiation therapy may
be appropriate for you, an appointment will be made for you at Leeward Radiation Oncology.
Our physician will perform an examination and consult with you regarding your health care options.
Your family members are welcome to attend. This is an opportunity to ask questions and to learn
how radiation therapy can benefit you. You might wish to write down questions you have ahead
of time and bring them with you.
This first appointment at our center will be longer than other appointments,
taking approximately an hour. No special clothes or diet restrictions are required
for the first visit.
